Speakers from the 1980s

Big towers and flat drivers. Infinity's Reference Standard speakers used planar EMIT tweeters, some with EMIM midranges, and the Kappa 8 added a rear-firing EMIT-K. Klipsch revised the Heresy as the Heresy II in 1985, added the Forte with a rear passive radiator the same year, and sold the two-way KG 4. Several of these Infinitys present a 4-ohm or lower load, so match the amplifier before you buy.
